Juli 2017 am Rotsee (LU) **Die Schweizerin Jeannine Gmelin konnte dem Druck standhalten und gewann vor grossartiger Kulisse am Rotsee im Skiff die Goldmedaille. Bereits nach 500 Meter übernahm sie die Spitze des Rennens und gab sie – angefeuert von über 10’000 Zuschauern – bis ins Ziel nicht mehr ab.** Die diesjährige LUCERNE REGATTA, hielt sowohl wettermässig wie auch aus sportlich Sicht einmal mehr alles, was von den Verantwortlichen erwartet wurde. Viele zufriedene Gesichter auf dem Regattaplatz, sei es von Athletinnen und Athleten von den Betreuern der 55 anwesenden Nationen oder den zahlreichen Zuschauern.
