Der gemeinnützige Verein CharityGolf Luzern – mit Ehrenpräsident, a. Bundespräsident Adolf Ogi und OK-Präsident Dr. med. Peter Burkart, Facharzt Orthopädie an der Spitze – schlossen den Golf Challenge 2019 im Golf Engelberg erfolgreich ab. Der 16. Benefizanlass wurde als «Dernière» mit über 60 Mitspielenden ausgetragen. Seit vielen Jahren unterstützten die beiden Hauptsponsoren PHILIPS und Synlab Suisse SA den einzigartigen Benefiz-Golf-Event CharityDay – Playing for Children. Dank der Sponsoren, Partnern und Gönnern und dank der Teilnehmenden gingen 328’440 Franken an die KinderSpitex Zentralschweiz. Der gesamte Rest des stolzen Benefizerlös von 429’640 Franken wurde an die Stiftung ‚Freude herrscht’ von Adolf Ogi, die Stiftung Folsäure Schweiz von Maria Walliser sowie an andere Institutionen weitergegeben. Der Wegfall der beiden tragenden Partner wegen Compliance-Vorschriften führte leider dazu, dass der 16. CharityDay vom Donnerstag, 29. August 2019 im Golfclub Engelberg-Titlis zur ‚Dernière’ wurde. Golfen für einen guten Zweck, das war das Motto der Teilnehmenden und der Sponsoren. Dankeschön!
