Die Einen sind erholt zurück aus den Skiferien oder den Brückentagen. Die Andern versuchen ihren Husten, das Halsweh, die Heiserkeit oder den «Pfnüsel» als Grippe zu verkaufen. Wie es auch sei, nur wenige konnten sich den, mittlerweile auf fünf angewachsenen, fröhlichen Tage entziehen. Sogar das KKL nicht, das in diesem Jahr wieder einmal eine Guugger-Gala mit dem Titel «Eine UnSinnfonie mit Chorchester» zum allerbesten gab. Das Vereinigte Orchester und der Chor der fünften Jahreszeit zeigte, das ihr Sinnfonisches Talent zur KKL-Konzertreife angereift ist. Das Wetter spielte fast immer in den höchsten Tönen mit den Guggenmusigen um die Wette, immer begleitet von den Einzelmasken, den Sujetgruppen oder den kleinen Fasnachtstheater die von den «blotte Grende» begeistert beklatscht wurden. Die Umzüge boten fast drei Stunden fast lückenlose Unterhaltung und das «Monschter» der «Die Vereinigte» defilierte majestätisch, für einmal ohne Schnee oder Regen, durch die Stadt. Rüüdig schön esch es gsi, mer freued üs uf d’Fasnacht 2019. Die Einen mit zerknirschtem Gesicht, die Anderen mit viel neuen rüüdigen Ideen.
